Tom and I decided to chill out today after yesterday, a hectic day of sightseeing. After a stroll through a market and getting my bus ticket to Singapore, Tom and I spent time teaching each other about blogging goodness. We decided to take a break with some Malaysian Cooking at a course the hostel offered. As you can see I had a good time! I cooked Ginger Beef, a dish that I really enjoyed tasting. It came as a surprise as I don’t normally like Ginger and I view this dish to be one of the best I’ve tasted. I must be a great cook then!
So how do you cook Malaysian Style? Basically, you prepare all the ingredients whether they need to be chopped, squeezed, mulched etc and then…throw everything into one pan at high heat. It’s pretty intense, particularly as the cook kept telling me to get a move on as you don’t want everything to get burnt. I loved it. Check out the pics. It was a great activity to end my time in Malaysia as I was due to go take one of the flights out  to Singapore the next day and what better way than it’s famous Malaysian food, which I have enjoyed immensely and fattingly! Check out the video as well!

Tom and I were the best cooks…well I was the better one 😉 so there Tom!

What do you think to Malaysian Cooking?
