6-7th September 2012
After a great day at Cape Reinga yesterday, I went to check out the infamous, untouched beaches of the Northlands with Melissa of the Mellyboo Project. Scarfing down a fish and chips dinner at one of them whilst being bitten by sand fleas, it was certainly a day to remember.
The next day, I went with Kate of Canuckikate to help teach at one of her classes all about travel! I also went to another school on my own and ended up teaching about travel first and then deafness all on my lonesome. It was absolutely brilliant and made me think what I would like to do in the future…
But the best comment I had from a pupil of Y4/5 was ‘when I grow up, I don’t want to be a nurse anymore, I want to travel!’ oops!
Meanwhile, check out the sweet as photos of the northlands beaches. And yes, both Melissa and I jumped for joy! But the best Pic? Melissa doing a car wash…oh yes baby!
Lol! Those are horrendous photos of me! Thanks 😛
