Here we are, it’s 2013! Thus, I always wanted to go again to one of the greatest British activities to do in summer…. MUSIC FESTIVALS!
As I have such a passion for music (How I cried pitifully when my headphones broke in New Zealand), from 2009, I’ve always been to V Festival taking place the weekend before August bank holiday weekend. As seeing I’ve missed last year’s as I was too busy being in the Blue Mountains of Australia, I’m determined to get back in the time honoured tradition of getting dirty, smelly, wet, and even beer soaked just to listen what the best music Britain has to offer.
So V Festival 2013 is on the cards? Well, I’ll have to wait and see what the line up is for this year that should be released next month and a week later…the tickets.
Dusting off my tent, neon paint, silly hats, my wellies and even might splash out on a generator rental to keep the party going til dawn at the campsite, I look back on my best year at V Festival. In 2010. Headliners – David Guetta, Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol and yes, Seasick Steve, I gathered a strong army of my friends and we all pitched on the campsite of Stafford Park in Staffordshire, ready to rock out and bust a few moves.
Putting on massive amounts of neon paint on our faces and bodies, we trooped down and well…I’ll let the pictures do the talking. I really really really really really want to go there again. How about it guys?
But first, remember, leave your inhibitions at the door.
What do you think? Will you be going to V festival? Will you be going? Check out later for the do’s and don’ts of music festivals…
