Ascending the stairs, I was literally gobsmacked at the view before me. Smiling to myself, I knew I’d be having a great weekend in Brighton and I’ve only been in the town for less than an hour. Setting my bag on the floor, I pinched myself thinking this would all be a dream. I mean, just look at the pic below.
It’s the Vine Street Studios!
Only a 5 min walk from the train station, these studios on Vine Street are surrounded by quirky shops, buzzing cafes, favourable drinking establishments and easy walking distance to the sea front to check out that Pier.
The studios are absolutely perfect if there’s a group of you as this was the case for the 10 of us and yet there were still plenty of space to be had! We were attending the Traverse Blogging Conference as our brand new spanking accommodation was just the cherry and icing of the cake!
As I gazed around the New York Style Post Industrial Look, I was mightily impressed and had to figure out which seat to sit in. It was that lofty (1000sq feet) and I looked up at the exposed steel beams and looked down at the oak floor and then gazed out at the Crittall style windows. Art dotted around the room, you could buy them if you wished to. I was tempted.
Maybe it’s time to explore the rest of the Studios. Taking in the cutting edge Lounge, I checked out the beautifully lit kitchen. All amenities were there and funky gadgets were there for our amusement to figure out what they were used for.
Heading upstairs, you were absolutely spoilt for choice to decide which bed to take. 4 twin bed rooms offered plush Italian style white bedding that we were to discover were more than comfortable. And there’s a double bed annexe with its private staircase that comes complete with its own ensuite bathroom.
The bathrooms were more than enough and I wandered down the landing admiring the view afforded by the sunset.
As all of us were fantastic travel bloggers in our own right, we immediately set up our laptops in perfect working spaces and connected to brilliant wi-fi. Helping ourselves to cups of tea, we just couldn’t believe how awesome this place was. Other Brighton accommodation has a lot to live up to.
This would indeed be a fantastic stay and you know what? It really was.
Thanks to Holiday Lettings ( @holidaylettings) for making sure we had a brilliant time and you can see below that us #TravelLadsNGirl did!
