I was very, very disparaging about Lisbon in my last post, wasn’t I? Well, I still maintain that Lisbon is a pretty depressing place to go. However, as I hoped that the Walking Tour would be its saving grace (it wasn’t), I tried in vain to find aspects of HAPPY Portuguese life in this capital city to reflect that it wasn’t a complete waste of time. I’m glad to say I found some with the help of my iPhone camera. Often, I wandered off from the walking tour to take snaps that I felt that we should be looking at. I enjoyed the dull colours of the city, the proper fado street art and the quirkiness of some four-legged friends. Enjoy!
