Both the dog and I hoped you had a very Merry Christmas! The dog seems to be getting her own fan base on my Instagram page so it seemed fair that she now becomes an honorary member of RexyEdventures. She’s waggling her tiny tail as we speak before gnawing on her brand new hat.
So, seeing as the dog around this Christmas, yes, it meant that I was at home in Kingston Upon Hull celebrating this festive period of cleaning out my parents’ fridge, pulling crackers over the wallpaper pasting table (the only big enough table for more than four people over Christmas Day) and crying my eyes out at both Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife on TV.
It was just the tonic after a truly hectic life after six months into my new job, living in London and finding the time to have a social life at weekends if I wasn’t working! Sitting in front of the TV, peering over my engorging belly, my feet up and listening to my Mum singing along to the ABBA Christmas party (and laughing) was definitely needed.
What did you get up to over Christmas?
What did you get for Christmas?
I look at my bundle and somehow see that travel still plays a huge part in my life. I got a new travel washbag (just as well, I had a pet mould called Bob in my last one), a portable exercise kit, a ladybird book guide to dating (no need for Tinder anymore!), a keyring torch, a back nodger, moisturizer (to keep my face young) and a Lonely Planet guide to Scandivavia!
Can you guess where in Northern Europe I’ll be going? Do you have any tips? Any ways how I should go on a date with a Swedish beauty? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
Meanwhile, Merry Christmas and enjoy the rest of your holidays!
