What better way to find a trip more adventurous than a cruise. I should know, I went on one in September into the Fjords of Western Norway. The vast ocean, dozens of cruise ports in lesser explored regions of the world, exhilarating excursions and plenty of new friends – these are just a few reasons why this is such an adventurous type of vacation to take. The breathtaking Norwegian Fjords are a sight (they are truly breath-taking, like the time I saw myself in the mirror) that not many people get to experience, which makes it a fantastic and unique adventure to undertake. Nature lovers will adore the Galápagos Islands, which is a volcanic archipelago found 1,000km off the coast of Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean. As an isolated terrain, it is one of the world’s greatest destinations for wildlife viewing with many endemic species of plant and animal. I know I’d love to get up and close like David Attenborough!

Scandinavia and Russia

Scandinavia and Russia are areas of the world that not many people travel to, but perfect for an unforgettable adventure. This cruise will take you around a beautiful part of the world, as well as incredible cities such as Bruges, Stockholm, Tallinn, St. Petersburg and Copenhagen. Many of the cities are amongst the most historic on Earth with amazing architecture and plenty of cultural activities.

Antarctica

“The Great White Continent” is the setting of many historic and fictional adventures, but sadly somewhere that not many people travel to.
