The United States is a beautiful country that has a lot to offer. This country has something for everybody. Nature lovers, back packers, city trippers and winter sport enthusiasts can all enjoy themselves here. I should know, I had an epic 10 day stay in the National Parks of Nevada, Arizona and Utah!

Essential item for visiting the USA

To visit The United States you need to apply for an ESTA (electronic system for travel authorization). You can apply for an ESTA at eVisa Application Services.

Evisa Application Services is specialized in taking care of various travel authorisations. They offer an easy application form, in which you can apply for your ESTA in 5 steps. In addition, they offer customer services 7 days a week to answer all your questions about the application.

After you paid for the application the form will be checked manually by one of the employees before it is submitted. When the application is accepted you will receive an email with the confirmation. This will usually only take a few hours. However, be aware that the American CBP is allowed to take up to 72 hours to make their decision.

You can apply for an ESTA on eVisa application Services for €25. If you are interested, read more here on the website of eVisa application Services.

Apply for your ESTA at least 4 weeks before you start your trip, this way you will still be able to apply for a visa if the ESTA gets declined unexpectedly.

Keep your passport within reach when filling in the application form and look up your address details for your stay in The United States at forehand.

When filling in your first name always only fill in the first one as presented on the passport.

Note: Please watch out for typos. Unfortunately, changes are not possible afterwards.

National Parks of the USA

The United States is home to some of the most beautiful national parks, like: Yosemite National Park, Yellow Stone National Park, Death Valley and the Badlands. These Parks are beautifully preserved and all have their own kind of beauty. For instance, Yellow Stone National Park is the oldest national park in the world and the largest in The United States. The Park contains over 800 kilometres of hiking trails, which makes this the ideal location for nature lovers.

Public Transport

If you are a true backpacker, the United States can also be the perfect travel destination for you. Once you arrive, you can easily travel around by public transport. There are, for instance, monthly travel passes for the train which allow you to travel to your heart’s delight. It is wise to make a list of all the places you would like to see during your trip so this way you will be able to look into cheap places to stay.

Another tip for backpacking through the United States is to get a travel insurance, since you will be traveling in a completely different way the most tourists will.

City breaks

New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Washington, these are probably all cities you have heard of. If you love a good city trip, one of these cities might be the next perfect travel destination for you. You could visit Central Park or the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) in New York. Or maybe take a look at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I want simply to see them all!

Winter sports

Winter sport is something not a lot of people think of when they think of The United States. Actually, did you know winter sport is all the rage here? The United States has some of the most beautiful winter sport areas in the world with the most popular location of Aspen, a city located in Colorado. Enjoy winter sport here without the bustle of the slopes in Austria and Germany. Apart from skiing and snowboarding, you can also take gorgeous sleigh rides through Aspen, or go hiking in snow boots through the wonderful nature area. It can be a romantic break too!

Relaxing holidays

Even when you are not a fan of all the things listed above and would rather enjoy a relaxing holiday, The United States still might be the holiday spot for you. You could go take it slow in the Florida Keys or visit the beaches of Santa Monica. The United States truly has endless possibilities!
